Their Story

The rest of their lives.

7 years in the making.

2014

August 25

Savannah and Josh first meet in their 12pm web design class.

October 18

Savannah gets tired of waiting on Josh to make a move and asks him out.

October 21

Josh takes Savannah on their first date to Late Night Slice in the Short North.

She ate pizza because she was too afraid to tell Josh she was lactose intolerant. What a trooper.

2015

March 16

Savannah and Josh take their first of many, many vacations together. In fact, this was the first time Savannah had seen the ocean or been to Disney World (though it certainly wouldn't be her last).

2016

May 14

Savannah and Josh graduate college together—certified fine artists.

True love is paying off private school loans together, right?

2020

February 20

Josh works with his friend, Jeff, to design an engagement ring.

May 19

After months of planning, and re-planning, Josh finally proposes to Savannah outside of a small wedding chapel in Howard, Ohio.

2021

August 28

Savannah and Josh get married at the same wedding chapel that Josh proposed at.

FAQ

Answers to some questions they've been getting lately.

I wasn’t invited. I thought we were friends!?

We’re keeping this wedding very small. We wish we could invite everyone, but the venue has limited space. So if we didn’t invite you, don’t worry, we’re still friends!

Is there a hotel that we an get nearby?

We suggest getting a room at the Mount Vernon Grand Hotel if you want to stay nearby. We didn't reserve a block of rooms, so we recommend booking early if you plan on staying the night nearby. For context, the venue is about an hour and a half from Columbus.

Can I buy you someting that isn’t on the registry?

We appreciate you getting us a gift! But please keep to the registry. We spent a lot of time on it, and don’t want to get something we don’t need.

Can I personalize your wedding gift with a name or monogram?

We'd prefer it if you not monogram or add any customizations to a gift you purchase.

Tell me more about the venue.

Spring Creek is a farm in Howard, Ohio. The ceremony will be in a small chapel, and the reception will be just a short walk up the hill from there. The venue will have space for games, dancing, and tables for family and friends. The farm belongs to our friend, Jeff, so we ask that everyone be respectful of his property.

How do I get to the venue?

The venue is at 6109 Wharton Ln, Howard, OH 43028. The location is a little hard to find via Google Maps, so we recommend using Apple Maps if you can. Please allow plenty of time to get to the venue before the wedding because it's hard to find.

What is the exact schedule?

The wedding ceremony will start at 11am. And the reception will begin immediately afterward and go until 5pm.

Will there be food?

Yep! There will be plenty of free food for everyone!

Will there be alcohol?

Yep! There will be an open bar. Just remember, this venue requires some driving to get to. So don't party too hard!
